Obituary of Ethel M. Doppelt

Ethel M. Doppelt (nee Striziver) age 93, of Lakewood, New Jersey passed away on October 9, 2024 from natural causes.

Ethel, born on September 22, 1931 and raised in The Bronx, NY, was a graduate of Walton High School, class of 1948 and Brooklyn Community College in 1950, with an Associate's Degree in retail.

 She was a former resident of Paramus, Maywood, Toms River, Lakewood and finally Brick, NJ.

 During her lifetime, Ethel had a career at Saks Fifth Avenue in New York where she was the head of the Personnel Records Department.  After moving to New Jersey, she eventually retired from doing insurance and billing for various medical groups in Bergen County.

Ethel leaves behind her devoted daughter, Annie Brugmans of Lakewood, NJ.

An avid animal lover throughout her lifetime, Ethel was the owner of several beautiful cats and dogs.

 She wants to express her gratefulness to her amazing caregivers - Jackie Williams , Janet Koenig and the home health aides at Leisure Park and finally her caregivers at Complete Care of Brick and Hospice.

Graveside funeral services will be held 2:00pm Thursday, October 11, 2024 at King Solomon Cemetery, Clifton, NJ.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood, NJ.
