My parents took me to her store after we saw The Jungle Book at the movies. I got a white bear from Gund with a green velvet ribbon and named him Balloo. Bea’s store was always a place of wonder for me and a huge part of my childhood. I wish my own daughter had the chance to go. Thank you, Bea, for being a favorite part of my childhood.
