Obituary of Patricia Anne Jacoby

Patricia Anne Jacoby (nee Nova) was born at Doctor’s Hospital in Manhattan on July 2, 1949 to Robert Nova and Deenie Cherry, both predeceased. She attended Packer Collegiate Institute in Brooklyn and Drake University in Iowa achieving her Masters in Education. She met her husband Andrew Jacoby at Drake University in 1966. They were married July 12, 1970 and settled in Toms River, New Jersey where they raised their children. She is survived by her devoted husband Andrew, daughter Lauren, son-in-law Matt Morrish, son Michael, daughter-in-law Erin, her grandchildren Declan, Vivian, Aidan, Margot and Fiona, and her sister Jill Tretola. She was predeceased by her loving brother Richie Nova.

In her last years she valiantly battled Corticobasal Degeneration. She was lovingly and devotedly cared for by her Angel on this Earth, Aisha Bugri. Thank you to the doctors at UPENN Department of Neurology, Interim Healthcare, Lars Home Care, Grace Hospice and their workers who diligently assisted in keeping her home and comfortable during this time.
