Obituary of Stanley B. Caris
Stanley Caris, 82, of Boynton Beach, FL, and formerly of Brick, NJ passed away on August 21st at his daughter's home with his son and daughter by his side. He had been battling esophageal cancer for over a year.
Stanley was born in Newark, NJ to Bernard and Sally Caris on August 26th, 1938. He graduated from Upsala College and then earned his Master's Degree at Rutgers University. Stanley was a Biology Teacher at Cedar Ridge High School in Old Bridge, NJ for 37 years.
Stanley is predeceased by his loving wife of 49 years, Bonnie Caris. Stanley was a loving father to daughter, Jill Andrea Caris, Cumming, GA and son, Scott William Caris, Margate City, NJ and brother to Shell E Caris, of Toms River, NJ.
Stanley, aka Stan the Man, loved playing tennis, pickleball, fishing, swimming, and his favorite Thoroughbred Horse Racing.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 11am at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please support Longleaf Hospice Foundation, Inc., 1160 Monticello St. Suite 200, Covington, GA 30014.
