Obituary of Harold "Hal" Moses

Harold "Hal" Moses of Manchester, NJ, passed away the morning of January 5, 2020. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and uncle. He loved all children and animals, especially dogs. Hal was proud to be an American and loved everything about being Jewish. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, he recently served as Senior Vice Commander of the Jewish War Veterans, Ocean County Post #178 and he served for two years as Chief of Staff/Adjutant General for the Jewish War Veterans of New Jersey. He was a big fan of football and soccer, and he enjoyed the music of Kenny Rogers and marching songs, Mickey Katz and Jackie Mason. Hal had a career as an engineer in manufacturing management, and he was a long-time resident of Lakewood, New Jersey. Hal is predeceased by his son Michael (2003) and survived by his wife of 57 years, Irene Moses and his daughters, Candice Snyder and Shauna Moses. He also has two nieces, three great-nephews, a great-niece, and numerous grandchildren, several of whom are “adopted” along with their parents, which is a profound testament to how much Hal was loved by people whose lives he inspired.
