Obituary of June Renee Friedman David

June Friedman David, 77, of Manchester, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born and raised in New York City, she resided in Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island for 35 years before moving to Manchester in 2003. Prior to retirement, June was employed as a sales engineer for Verizon in New York. She was a past member of Congregation B'nai Israel, Staten Island, NY and a member of the Renaissance Brooklyn Club, Hadassah, PAC, Shalom Club & Women's Club, Bocce League & Shuffleboard League. She loved jigsaw puzzles, mahjong, and enjoyed traveling the world. Predeceased by her parents, Irving and Sylvia Held; she is survived by her husband of 32 years, Daniel; sons, Mark Friedman, of East Windsor, NJ; Russell Friedman, of Staten Island, NY; Glen Friedman (Victoria), of Manhattan, NY; step-children, Irving David (Liz), of Staten Island, NY; Dean David (Lisa), of East Brunswick, NJ; Elaine Brown (Marc), of Staten Island, NY; brother, Robert Held, of Glendale, CA; and grandchildren, Joshua, Phillip, Olivia, Jordyn, Caleb, Jonah, Max, Brooke, Lindsay, and Ashleigh. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, 313 Second Street, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Interment will follow at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ. Donations in June’s honor may be made to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, P.O.
