Obituary of Janet Norma Runko

Janet Norma Runko, 72, of Manchester, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018, at her home. Born in Manhattan, Janet was raised and resided in Queens, later moving to Howell where she lived for 30 years before settling in Manchester in 2001. She was an active member of Ahavat Achim, serving as the Congregation secretary and sisterhood president. Janet worked as an administrative assistant at Hillel Yeshiva, Ocean TWP, NJ for many years. Most recently she was involved in the Shalom Heritage Club and other groups in the Renaissance Community. Janet is survived by her husband of 52 years, Richard; Sons, Aaron and his wife Lori of Howell, Jerome and his wife Michele of Howell, Matthew and his wife Staci of Yardley, PA, Mitchell and his wife Rebecca-Ouskin of Trenton; Brothers, Martin Hochman of Little Egg Harbor, Kenneth Hochman of Palm Desert, CA, as well as grandchildren, Thomas, Kyle, Nicolette, Cassondra and Adrianna. Funeral services will be held 10AM Sunday, December 30 at Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, 313 2^nd St. Lakewood, NJ with interment to follow at Beth Olam Memorial Park,Lakewood.
