Obituary of Hyman Shaiman

Hyman Shaiman, 91, died on Friday, September 21, 2018 at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.

Born in Harlem, NY he lived there until moving to Lakewood in 1931. Before retiring he was employed by the Lakewood MUA for 27 years last serving as Chief Engineer. Previously, he was a self-employed chicken farmer for over 30 years on Chestnut Street, Lakewood.

Mr. Shaiman was predeceased by his wife, Janet in 2014. He is survived by his son Joseph and his wife Nancy of Belmar and his daughter, Michale Hughes of Browns Mill and a granddaughter, Ella.

Services will be held on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 10:00 am at Belkoff Goldstein Funeral Chapel, 313 2nd St., Lakewood followed by interment at Samptown Cemetery, South Plainfield, NJ.
