Obituary of Aaron Cohen

Aaron Cohen, 85, of Manchester, NJ passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017. Born in New York, he resided in the Bronx, Peabody, MA and Spring Valley, NY before moving to New Jersey in 1995.

Aaron had many hobbies including tennis, racket ball and he enjoyed running. He ran in the 1982 New York Marathon. Aaron was a competitive bridge player, he played in local clubs and in many cities across the U.S.

Aaron is survived by his beloved wife, Madeline of 64 years; son, Evan and his wife Laurie; daughter Tina and her husband Michael and four grandchildren, Max, Janie, Jamie and Harrison to cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 13, 11:00 AM at Beth Am Shalom, 1235 Hwy 70 W, Lakewood, NJ. Committal service with military honors will follow at 1:00 PM at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ. Shiva will be observed Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the family home. Memorial contributions in Aaron’s memory may be directed to the Hadassah Foundation Inc. Arrangements are entrusted to Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood NJ.
