Obituary of Phyllis Schwartz
Phyllis Schwartz died peacefully surrounded by her family on December 3, 2017. She was 81 years old.
Mrs. Schwartz was born in Brooklyn and moved to Lakewood in 1965 with her late husband Irving. She was a member of the JWV Auxiliary of Lakewood, the Leisure Village West Choir, and a longtime member of Congregation Ahavat Shalom in Lakewood.
Mrs. Schwartz was predeceased by her husband, Irving in 2011 and her sister Sheila Gross. She is survived by her loving son, Howard and his wife, Arlene, her daughter Beth and her husband Pride Conner, her devoted grandchildren, Jason Schwartz, Randi Bucca and her husband Scott, Carsin Conner, Madison Conner and Dakota Conner and Great Grandchildren Colin and Isabella Bucca. She is also survived by her sister Bonnie Pignataro and her husband Richard.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Congregation Ahavat Olam, Howell, NJ followed by interment at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, NJ. Arrangements are under the direction of Belkoff Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood, NJ
The family will be observing Shiva at the home of Howard and Arlene Schwartz at 607 Yellowbrick Road, Brick. Shiva will be observed Tuesday through Thursday and Saturday. The family requests that visitation begin after 3:00 pm.
