Obituary of Rubin Katzin

Rubin Katzin, 92, previously of Ventnor, NJ, died Saturday, September 16, 2017, at Riddle Village, Life Care Retirement Community Media, PA. Rubin was born and raised in West Philadelphia and enlisted in the US Navy in 1942 serving until 1944. Rubin married the love of his life, Mildred, and enjoyed over 60 years of marriage. Moving to Toms River, NJ in the mid-1950s He became a poultry farmer and later he owned an industrial cleaning business, Penn Jersey Building Services in Philadelphia. Rubin enjoyed boating, fishing and spending time with his family.

Rubin is predeceased by his parents, Max and Anna Katzin, his wife Mildred and son Alan. He is survived by his sons, Clifford and his wife Colleen, of Mullica Hill, NJ, Steven and his partner Glenn, of Media, PA, Four (4) grandchildren and three (3) great-grandchildren to cherish his memory.

Funeral services will be held graveside, Tuesday, September 19, 2017, 12 PM at Toms River Jewish Community Cemetery, Toms River NJ. Memorial contributions in Rubin’s memory may be directed to The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation or www.jdrf.org. Arrangements are under the direction of Belkoff Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood, NJ.
