Obituary of Haskel J. Pelcman

Haskel J. Pelcman, 65, died February 28, 2017 at his home in Brick, NJ. He was born in Point Pleasant, NJ. Haskel was employed by Home Depot, Lakewood - you’d find him at the Pro Desk. He was a great a cappella singer who enjoyed 50’s and 60’s music, loved trivia, was a master carpenter and craftsman, Nascar enthusiast, animal lover, amazing cook, and wasn’t shy about voicing his opinions. He loved his family and friends! Haskel was predeceased by his parents, Morris and Bella Pelcman and his youngest brother, David. He is survived by his wife/life partner of 44 years Carol Burkley; his daughter, Jodie Goodwin, her husband John, and grandson Jayce. He is also survived by his siblings and their spouses: Harry & Margaret; Charlotte & David; Simon; Jan; Howard & Cindy, his nieces and nephews: Jacqueline, Joshua, Aaron, Michael, Matthew, Randy, Jason, Jessica, Mike, Ian, Michele, Ariana & Courtney, and his great nephews and nieces: Max, Sam, Caleb, Brielle, Preston, Addison, Wyatt & Sawyer. His passing has created yet another empty chair at the family table. It will be his stories, jokes, music, and Pelcman humor that will help us through this.
