Oh Helen, I was concerned I didn't hear from you after I sent you a postcard for Hanukkah.It was so unlike you. Because of the loss I had this year,I wasn't really sending cards,maybe to 5 people. I will miss seeing your cheerful puppy and kitten cards,signed from you with Gidget and Mazel.And always from a rescue group.
I will miss you so.It was a privlege to know someone like you.
She never surrendered to anything,just kept doing whatever she could the best she could and didn't complain,although God knows she had reason.
I know Helen spoke of her aunt and her cousin.Please ,will someone get in touch with me. I tried calling her tonight and when the phone number wouldn't work, I tried again and then called info to double check. I was friends with her in Fresh Meadows,just two blocks away.
I am so,so sorry. And that is a beautiful picture of her too.
