Obituary of Barbara A. Mednick

Barbara Anne Mednick, born in Brooklyn, NY on June 21, 1942 daughter of Katherine and Philip Bressler passed peacefully at Pine Valley Nursing Home on April 21, 2026. She was surrounded by her loving daughter Pam, favorite son in law Kevin and so many special friends who always looked out for her, Nicole, Lenore, Stacy, Topps and Kim. The outpouring of love and support at the end of her journey shown by the staff meant so much to her and her family. Prior to the last 4 months, Barbara spent 9 good years on the assisted living side of the facility befriending everyone she came in contact with.  She loved her family above all, but had a soft spot for Chinese food, first cut corn beef sandwiches, Mallomars and Coca Cola.

Barbara was predeceased by her brother Stanley and sister in law Shelia. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Pam and Kevin McAndrew and two amazing grandchildren, Ryan and Keri, both of whom she was so proud of, nephews Paul (Chris) and David (Susan) whom she enjoyed seeing at Thanksgiving each year, as well as two life long friends Anna and Janice whom she always spoke of fondly.

The family is particularly appreciative of all of the efforts of the team at Capabilities Partnership Inc. especially Kim, Caroline, Chrissy, Erin and Lisa who supported her every step of the way and continued to keep in touch over the years.
