Obituary of Eileen Daskalovitz
Eileen Daskalovitz passed away peacefully at her home on April 10, 2025, at the age of 90.
Born to Ruben and Helen Fram in the Bronx, NY. She spent four decades in Milltown, NJ
, before settling in Lakewood, NJ.
Eileen dedicated over 25 years to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, where she
found immense fulfillment in her career.
Eileen was preceded in death by her husband, Baruch (Bob), with whom she shared 40 years
of marriage. She is survived by her three children: Michael Daskalovitz and his wife,
Marianne, of Brick, Marlene Daskalovitz of Asbury Park, and Batya Mendes and her
husband, John, of Fort Myers, FL. She was the proud grandmother to six grandchildren –
Brian Daskalovitz and his wife, Kristin; Elyse Wemple and her husband, Dan; Kevin
Daskalovitz and his wife, Kerry; Helene Chaconas and her husband, Derek, Paul Mendes;
and Nina Mendes. Her love extended to her three great-grandchildren: Piper, Calvin, and
Hannah.
Eileen enjoyed going to Atlantic City, creating intricate needlepoint works of art, and her
appreciation for good food.
Two of her quotes that she often said were “Life goes by in the blink of an eye” and when
you were leaving, she would say “Don’t say goodbye, say so long”. So, this is not goodbye,
it’s so long for now, mom, until we meet again.
The family takes solace in the indelible mark she left on their lives and the many cherished
moments they hold dear. May her memory be a blessing.
A service to celebrate Eileen’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 15, at 10:30 at Beth Am
Shalom. Graveside services will be held at Beth Abraham Cemetery located at 617
Cranbury Rd. East Brunswick, NJ.
