Obituary of Sheila Geteles

Sheila Geteles, 77, of Manchester died Sunday, July 17, 2016 at AristaCare at Manchester. Born in Brooklyn, she resided in Queens, NY and Howell, NJ prior to settling in Manchester in 2003. Sheila was a caring and friendly person. She was involved with Hadassah, was an avid mahjong player, and enjoyed travel and spending time with family and friends. Predeceased by her father, Sol Green; she is survived by her mother, Anna Green of Lakewood; her husband of 58 years, Robert; her son, Jay and his wife, Sandra of Brick, NJ; her daughter, Elissa Beckerman and her husband, Howard of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:30am Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, 313 Second Street, Lakewood, NJ 08701. Interment will follow at Wellwood Cemetery, Pinelawn, NY. Contributions in Sheila’s honor may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
