Obituary of Joan Rothman

Joan Rothman, 76, a beloved sister and aunt, of Freehold Borough, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017. She was a resident of Freehold all of her life. She worked at Ft. Monmouth over 30 years. Joan is predeceased by her father and mother, Max and Anna Rothman, her brothers, Harry and Arnold and her sisters, Shirley Bernstein and Dorothy Pearlman. Joan is survived by her brother, Arthur, several nieces, nephews, great nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her friend and companion, Douglas McIlvaine and her cherished cats. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00am Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Agudath Achim Cemetery, Route 33 West, Freehold, NJ 07728. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Belkoff-Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Lakewood, NJ.
